ATTENTION UNION CENTER MERCHANTS

It has been brought to the attention of the Board of Health that people and/or merchants are feeding pigeons in Union Center.

It is illegal to feed or cause to be fed wild animals and/or stray domestic animals within the township on lands either publicly or privately owned.

 

Violation of this ordinance can result in imprisonment, and/or a fine not to exceed $1250, and/or a 90 day period of community service.

Please do not feed pigeons or other wild and/or stray domestic animals.  This practice can cause serious public health and safety concerns.
